the mission

Her Handmade Hustle was set up by me - Joanne Pearce - a female entrepreneur and successful business woman, who started my own handmade stationery company, Vintage Twee, at the age of 27 years old. I grew the business from the ground up with sheer hard work and determination and have achieved a string of successes in the 14 years I've been self employed. I'm an established seller on two of the biggest handmade marketplaces- Etsy and Not on the High Street, my work has been featured in many national publications and I've built a loyal customer base around the world.

I did it all on my own but wished I would have had someone there to help and encourage me when I rode the highs and lows of being self employed. My colleagues often turn to me for advice and help starting a business because of the belief I put in them and my natural ability to explain things clearly. I soon realised there was a huge gap in the market for some friendly, down to earth and affordable business support for creative women - and decided to do something about it.

I set up Her Handmade Hustle and became a female business mentor specialising in small business coaching for women. I have one mission: to support other female entrepreneurs start a creative business doing something they LOVE. Life is too short not to enjoy what you do and I believe that women truly deserve to enjoy the freedom and flexibility that only comes from working for yourself.
